ElringKlinger receives MAN Trucknology Award 2009

Dettingen/Erms , June 11, 2010 +++  The MAN Commercial Vehicle Group has honored ElringKlinger with the "Trucknology Supplier Award 2009". The truck producer presents the award each year to its top ten business partners in recognition of outstanding collaboration.

ElringKlinger was chosen by the MAN jury from a group of several hundred competitors. The criteria applied to the selection process were quality, cost awareness, faultless logistics and technical expertise.

Karl Schmauder, a member of the Management Board of ElringKlinger, accepted the award on behalf of the company at the official ceremony staged at Schloss Hauser in Munich. "Recognizing our extremely close, long-standing business relations, this award bears testimony to the trust placed in our company. It is a tribute to the expertise and commitment of our employees, on whose behalf I have the pleasure of accepting this prize," said Schmauder, who among other things is the director responsible for OEM Sales and New Business Areas within the ElringKlinger Group.

ElringKlinger supplies MAN primarily with cylinder-head gaskets and plastic housing modules, but also with specialty gaskets and shielding components. The company has also recently been nominated as a supplier to MAN's facilities in South America.
