Key Supplier Award for ElringKlinger.

Dettingen/Erms, Stuttgart, March 19, 2010 +++ ElringKlinger has received the Daimler Key Supplier Award 2009 from Daimler AG in recognition of the company’s outstanding performance. The award was presented as part of an official ceremony held on March 18, 2010, at the Mercedes-Benz Center in Stuttgart.

Each year, Daimler AG selects fourteen best-in-class suppliers from a group of around 3,500 supply companies. The vehicle manufacturer identifies its best suppliers in terms of quality, innovative drive and service on the basis of standardized supplier assessment ratings. ElringKlinger was presented with the coveted supplier award in the “Powertrain” category of the commercial vehicle segment. Within this context, ElringKlinger’s innovative plastic housing modules, designed to make vehicles lighter and thus reduce fuel consumption and emissions, gave the supplier a decisive edge.
