Automechanika 2006: What is new with Elring
You do even better with first-class products if these come with a just as high quality of service: the sealing specialist Elring has therefore not only significantly extended and optimized its range, but also has a lot of new services to offer in the area of sales support and information media. The new Elring Main Catalog 2007 will be published to coincide with the sector event of the year. Especially practical: The 6-language reference work features a model and engine directory for the first time, which makes searching for products even easier and more convenient. The 18-language Electronic Spare Parts Catalog E-KAT, which can be found in the Internet as the Elring Online Catalog, has also been reissued for the Automechanika. Like the Main Catalog, it contains the complete product range of Elring: gaskets, sealing sets and service parts in OEM quality.
The Cylinder-Head Bolt Catalog for passenger cars and commercial vehicles, including tightening instructions and information about wrench sockets and screwdriver bits, as well as the Commercial Vehicle Catalog have also been updated and extended. It has become an indispensable aid for workshops and trade thanks to the exploded views of each individual commercial vehicle engine. The Catalog for Oil Seals and Valve Stem Seals will be presented for the first time by Elring at the Automechanika. This includes important information and tips concerning all aspects of assembly.
The new Elring Internet presence: informative and clear
The spare part brand Elring, which was previously integrated in the website of ElringKlinger AG, now has a new and independent Internet presence. Workshops, trade and end customers can find comprehensive information on all aspects of “Elring – Das Original” at www.elring.de. A real highlight is the online product search: The various Elring catalogs, above all the Elring Online Catalog, can be accessed via the Internet. The fast way to find the right spare part – 24 hours a day. In addition to this, the “Technical Service Information” also offers valuable tips and information on products, their correct assembly etc. The new Elring website also provides detailed information on forgeries and how to recognize them.
The campaign to provide protection against brand and product piracy, which the Frankurter Messegesellschaft has launched on the occasion of the Automechanika, is a very important subject for Elring, as the market leader needs to defend itself against forgeries from various countries. As protection against cheap imitations, Elring brand products are always marked with a hologram which shows very specific properties.
