Metaloseal® Gaskets

A very wide range of applications is possible since many material qualities can be tailored to meet the needs of the individual sealing tasks. Soft-material gaskets consist of a composite material (fibers, fillers, binding agents) and are available in thicknesses ranging from 0.20 and 2.50 mm. These gaskets (non-asbestos) however are not suitable for use wherever the seal is subjected to very high temperatures.
In addition to the pure soft-material gaskets, there are also gaskets with metal inserts used primarily for sealing coolant, oil, fuel and exhaust systems.

The Metaloseal® sealing system can be adapted to meet individual requirements by fine-tuning the parameter combinations of carrier layer, coating and bead.
